Chlorine
Chlorine is a chemical element which is denoted by the symbol Cl. The atomic number of Chlorine is 17. It is a halogen and it has a place in the periodic table in group 17. The chlorine compounds are used in swimming pools to keep them clean and also in sanitary as well. In the upper atmosphere chlorine containing molecules have been implicated in the destruction of ozone layer.
