One of the most powerful acids is the sulphuric acid which is known as H2SO4. It is also called as the oil of vitriol. It was found by the 8 th century Muslim alchemist. It has many applications and is used primarily in ore processing, fertilizer manufacturing and also oil refining. It is also used in wastewater processing and also in chemical synthesis.
