Benzene is a organic chemical compound which is also known as Benzol. It is a carcinogenic compound and is denoted by C6H6. It is colorless and highly flammable liquid. The melting point of Benzene is also very high. Its use in the gasoline is very limited as it is carcinogenic but it has wide spread applications in the production of Synthetic rubber, dyes and also plastics.
