Aluminium alloy wheels are lighter than conventional steel wheels resulting in better acceleration and braking, enhanced maneuverability and improved fuel efficiency. Aluminium is a better conductor of heat. Therefore the wheels and the braking system are cooled faster. This leads to increased life of the tyre, tube and braking system. Aluminium is a better shock absorber. Thus riding on alloy wheels is more comfortable than steel wheels. This is also corrosion resistant . Alloy wheels are the most visible accessory, hence they enhance the looks of a vehicle dramatically.
